ATI Radeon Supported on FC3?

I tried to configure my ATI Radeon 9800 XT yesterday, and I saw on some web sites across the web that Hardware-Accelerated OpenGL support was not available for the ATI-based video cards, on PCs running FC3.

Is that true? Anybody else had a similar problem? Any way to fix it? Are the drivers released yet?

I'd appreciate if somebody helped me with some of those questions. I am sooo confused!

I forget to tell you that the 3D driver (for Radeon 9500 series and up) will be released this Monday, the 17th of January.
