ATI 9800pro on Fedora Core 3

I want to know which drivers on ATI website that I need for fedora core 3, I am not sure which xwindows verison is fedora core 3 using kde. It listed
XFree86 4.1
XFree86 4.2
XFree86 4.3
X.Org 6.8
So which one? also how would I know which verison I am using? I tried to configure my video card, but its too limiting. would install new ati drivers helps?

Fedora Core 3 and most newer distros use

Typing X -version at a command prompt will show which version of you are using. I am using 6.8 and that is what comes with FC3, so getting the drivers for 6.8 seems like the right choice.

I downloaded those, but when I open it, it says it installed the package maybe or something, but I still don't have full resolution options or anything. What do I do?
