Apt-get update problem after upgrade and others

Hi folks,

I just finished upgrade a RH8.0 box to Fedora Core 2, apparantly running without much problem with all data files in /home retained. However following warning popup on booting

Paul "Rusty" Russell [FAILED}

What does it mean. I could locate it on /var/log/boot.log

# apt-get update
apt-get: error while loading shared libraries: librpm-4.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
(remark: I will post a new thread on the forum)

Kindly advise how to fix it.

TIA

B.R.
