anti virus and spyware program for fedora
Do you know anti-virus program for fedora easy to use and update? i tried f-prot, avg and bitdefender but i can't use and configure them.
is there an anti virus program for fedora core easy to install and update?

You really don't need any av for Linux. Linux is not Windows. The main things is you don't do things using the root account (with the exception of the occasional administration, of course).
Most AV for Linux, in fact, only serves to prevent malware from being passed on to a Windows machine from your Linux box.

Agreed as stated above by Jay73. However, if you're determined to try something, ClamAV is apparently popular too. I'm not endorsing it, nor do I use it myself, but it's an option if you're still looking.

I used clamav, with FC4 a while ago, not sure about now, but then it didn't have a gui.
I had to "cd" to my mail folder, then run "clamscan".
If you can manage that it will work for you.

i installed clamav. I usually download files for windows. I want to use anti virus for that files. Also i want to scan emails.
Clamav is works fine now. But i don't know how can i use it. Do you know a good guide for clamav? it's web site is giving information for windows users. I can't found an detailed explanation for linux users.

try "man clamav" or "man clamscan" if that doesn't work.
I haven't had it installed for a while so I forget exactly
