Compile Problems?
Hi! I get the following errors when I try to compile the wxGTK does anyone know what is wrong? I believe it is because I am missing the comiler required but I don't know exactly which one. Can someone please point out how to install the missing compiler with yum.

looks like you need to install g++, should be found in your package manager.

As to your problem, I agree with cuiq.

Just wanted to let you know that I managed to create working wxGTK rpms from those source files.
This is the .spec file I used; I changed the original myself. You need to have both the wxGTK and wxBase .bz2 files in the same directory.
Just replace the wxGTK.spec file in the wxGTK .bz2 archive, and create the rpms as usuall (rpmbuild -tb wxGTK-2.6.1.tar.bz2).

Thanks for all the help, I did a yum install gcc-c++ and it installed the compiler, now I can finally install amule. Thanks a ton.

Problems installing aMule
 
I ahve been following the insturctions for installing aMule on FC4. using the following URLs

Compiling wxGTK-2.6.1
Linked against GTK2: ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-gtk --enable-unicode --disable-compat24 --enable-optimise && make

I get the following Error message:

I installed yum install gettext-devel gtk+-devel curl-devel gcc-c++ gd-devel
according to Saint Mike's, post on this forum, Which I thought would install gtk+-2.0

Can someone please clear up this problem and help me with installing aMule and the other dependent programs or libraries. I am a nebe and do not know what to next.
