All Fedora ISO's needed for install?

Hi all, I'm wanting to try out Fedora4test2 but before I download all 4 ISO images I was wondering if I need all 4 images to perform the install or if some of them are 'extras' that I don't really need.

Could someone shead some light on this for me please in the hope of saving some bandwidth.

Many thanks.

You'll need the first two to install a Personal Desktop.

hi there,

like almost every distro, you need only the first one - selecting a minimal install.
after that you grab what you want with yum.

Note that a minimal install does *not* include X-Windows or any GUI.

With my experiences with downloading iso's, i usually end up downloading three out of four. The forth one usually has the source code, thats what i have been told. The only time i downloaded a one disc iso was with Suse and Ubunte. But with fedora and mandrake, i downloaded 3 iso. I hope that helps. And looking at the sites sometimes they give you a outline of whats on each disc.

you could do a minimal install than yum everything else in or if you perfer you could try to install apt and use that. In fedora core 3 the basic desktop took disks 1, 2, & 3 for me, but the minimal install only took one
