Add new fonts

How do I add new fonts?
I've tried everything in Control Center but I can't find a way.
Many fonts are missing like Verdana for example.

FC4 x86_64

Linux does not ship with MS fonts. You can copy them from windows to your Fedora installation or look for an rpm called corefonts.

I believe that Stanton Finley's FC4 install guide includes a note on how to put MS fonts on your setup.
