acme for laptop doesn't work for brightness

When i used Suse 9.1 acme worked fine for my laptop. Well, i don't remember if i had configured anything having to do with brightness then, but anyway it worked fine. No i downloaded the file "acme-2.4.2-2.1.fc2.dag.i386.rpm" for my laptop, but neither the keys of my laptop, which have to do with brightness respond nor can i find any configurations options in acme for "brightness".
What can i do?
