Accessing windows shares in GUI

Hopefully I can get a little help on this.

I'm running FC3 on a laptop,
on my LAN I got 2 windows XP boxes

I need to access the shared folders of the windows XP's in X

I have been able to use samba to browse a share from the console, but I really wants to do this in X.

Anyone have an idea on this?

From GNOME, open your home folder (on the desktop). File>connect to server>Service type needs to be "windows share". Type in the ip address of your windows box (I have no success using the computer names) in the Server box. Type in the name of the share (you'll get this from Windows). You need to enter the Windows user name. I seem to remember leaving the other boxes empty.

Once complete, this will create a "shortcut" one the desktop. Double click on it and you will be asked for the Windows password for that account (remember the windows username) and you should then see the Windows shared folder.

Get back if you have no joy. Good luck.
