about packages upgrade

Hi ,

I get green KDE icon for upgrade packages. Then I try 'dnf upgrade' but I don't get any package for upgrade. Why ?

you can not use debian "apt-get" commands on dnf or yum
fedora is a rpm based system

try this

Hi John VV ,

I read DNF(8) manual page and it say:

" Update Command
dnf [options] update
Deprecated alias for the Upgrade Command.
"

Then, update command for dnf is deprecated. as I said, the correct command is 'dnf upgrade'.

Why you suggest deprecated command ?
