Which version of Flash was used to create the content you cannot see? On Windows there has for some time been Flash v.8 and now the newest version is 9, on Linux the last stable one is version 7 and the newest is version 9, but to get the latest (v. 9) for Linux you might still have to manually download it; it's in Adobe's site but last time I checked I couldn't find it straight by going and looking for. Quickest way is to go to Google and search for "linux flash player 9 updater" or something like that; it should point you out the Adobe's site which has the download you need (if you go to adobe.com -> downloads and select v.9, it still gives you v. 7 unless they've fixed it). There are two downloads, if you want a browser plugin, don't choose the standalone player but the installer. It is used by downloading and unarchiving/compressing the downloaded file, which includes a directory; cd into the directory and run the installer file, or simply manually copy the flash .so file to your browser's plugin directory and restart your browser. Be aware that the file is called exactly the same as version 7, so if you already have Flash 7 installed, you should back up the older file if you don't want to overwrite it.
