2.6.11?

I was wondering if it was a good idea to load the latest version of the kernel on FC3?

I see on http://www.kernel.org/

That 2.6.11 is latest version but I am still using 2.6.10. Is there any reason why YUM or up2date wont load 2.6.11?

I don't update the kernel of my system unless a bug is listed at bugzilla, which I have a link for in my signature. I see lots of bugs listed for different versions of 2.6.10. Check out that link if you want to know if your 2.6.10 is safe from whatever package you used to get from 2.6.9-1.667 to 2.6.10.

EDIT: When you search look for "FC3"

There is no need to rush and upgrade to the kernel from kernel.org because Fedoras kernel usually has a lot of customised patches and backports, so some of the bugs in 2.6.10 may have been fixed in Fedoras kernel.
