[FC6] Can't Mount CD or DVD

I don't mount cd's or dvd's to often, i just usually run them from the automount, however I don't know how to cd(change directory) to the automount, if you can even cd to it. However I can't install Half Life 2 w/o the terminal. When I try to mount using this command

Quote:
root@resnet-130-184-xx-xxx fdockery]# mount /dev/dvdrw ./Desktop/randMount
I get this error

Quote:
mount: No medium found
However the cd is in the drive, I tried both my cd and dvd drive and multiple disks....

The automounted CD/DVD are normally in media folder
if you cannot cd into the dir, then navigate to the dir in file browser, click the reqd dir & hold the mouse button and drop it on the terminal, you will find the dir path pasted on the command line. simply append cd before the path & press enter
You can also use locate to find files & path
