XMMS on Feather will not play MP3's...

The XMMS player on Feather (from a USB flash drive) will not play mp3's. No errors appear, just clicking the play button does not play an mp3 file. When viewing file info, it is not reading anything (all question marks and a blank IDE tag). I tried several songs from 2 mounted hard drives (NTFS and FAT32), same issue is occuring. Sound does work however, the player can play audio CD's. Any ideas on this one, I can find nothing on the internet for this.

If like many distros the support for MP3 or not open source software. It cost to have access to it. I do not the structure of feather if it is RPM or deb based. Goto xmms website and get the needed files for mp3 support. You can do a search here for ' Fedora xmms mp3 ' and see what it is all about.
