Why does my feather linux fail to boot?

I just recently downloaded the Feather Linux operating system and installed it to my usb. When I try to run it , it wont boot and explains how certain necessary files are missing. When I checked the files in the usb, I noticed that none of the program files open and they seem to need an extension file just to open. of course I'm real new at this and I don't know much about computers so I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. Thank you so much for your help.

I cant really answer this but I guess the most useful thing for anyone wishing to help you id for you to post up the errors you are getting so myself and others can have a look at the errors produced.

You could also try re-installing again: http://featherlinux.berlios.de/usb-instructions.htm

Well thanks so much for helping out... I'll try and re-download with the link you posted up... But in truth the error would show up right when the program was booting... It tried to look for programs to finish booting but it wouldn't find it... thats really all I remember... But I'll try re-downloading... Thanks again...
