Start firefox
I installed feather on my hard drive, downloaded and installed firefox which worked fine until I rebooted. Now I can't get firfox to start. I get prompted to create a new user or use default but nothing I do allows me to start it.

Try going to the console, then to /home/knoppix/firefox, and type "./firefox". What errors do you get?

Thanks for giving me the command to start firefox! I finally figured out how to use it but I don't understand why it must be done this way. I can't use the Default as I get a message telling me it is already in use. I creat "Default User" and choose the firefox folder and I can start firefox. I must do this each time I want to use it.

You might want to try "sudo" before the Firefox command, then.
