can not connect net using feather !


hi,

I have try to configure kppp configure.once i closed that configuration windows. i do not see where to start kppp.

when I try to prob my modem it stuck on /dev/ttyS1 and one or two light blinking on modem and it stuck on that,then i have to manaully close that windows. here is the file created in /etc/charscript/hitesh

how to start kppp dialog box.I can not enjoy net using Feather linux. can any one help me?

is my modem configure properly? and from where can i see which service runing or not? bec'z when i click on some utilities, windows just open and disapparing, so i do not know it started or not.

Also I tried with run command with keyword 'kppp'. but it's showing nothing. can we start appliation using run command windows.

Or can we use wvdial under feather?

I would like use this linux. it's nice looking and good to use to take backup.

Goto shell, type "pon ISPname" and <enter>

Thanx atang1,

but it's not working. When i do 'pon hitesh' it dial and connect and when i try to ping www.yahoo.com. it's show error (see below).

And after 1 or 2 minits it got disconnected. what to do with this.
