Tom,
It took me a while to find. I was looking for something equivalent to the RH like scripts used to configure the mouse and video. Using the right click of the mouse, go to:
Apps->System->Daemons-Printing->Configure Printing
This will generate an interactive script which is fairly explanatory.
For the 1st entry "Printer Driver Selection", choosing option
3) printer driver natively supported by ghostscript is usually the most failsafe route to take. I'm going to put most of this on a "Portable Linux" page when I'm allowed to add links. For now go to
gnu.295.ca/~peak/p_linux.html (missing http header)
