Installing Eos, can't get pass grub

Hey guys, i tried installing Elementary Os Luna x64 in a Toshiba Satellite S45-B (with Windows 8.1) laptop through a Live USB. When i boot in the usb and select to try elementary w/o installing i get this:

Code:
hda_intel: azx_get_response timeout, switching to single_cmd mode
I tried Ubuntu 14.04 in a live usb and it worked, but elementary doesn't. I'm new to linux so i don't know what's going on.

Please help. Thanks for reading

the output you provided looks like a warning about audio drivers - it shouldn't interfere with booting.
maybe it freezes right after that.
but nobody'll be able to help you without more information.

A search of "azx_get_response timeout" would likely have found something like this.
Gives background and a solution - although that might be beyond someone new to Linux.

That thread was in March - I'm surprised Elementary don't have a newer system available by now to fix this.
