Gnome-Do NOT WORKING

Hi there! I am very satisfied with the Freya version of Elementary, but somehow i got a problem to get Gnome-Do working on it..
Maybe this is because the desktop is deactivated in default but other similar programs work fine (launchy). I still want to get gnome-do working.

This is the output i get! maybe someone can help me!

Thank you

Hi....

From what I have read here, this problem may be at least partly solved by installing the "gtk2-engines-pixbuf" package. However, at the same time, I see here that the developers of Elementary OS have declined to include it in Luna and possibly future versions, including Freya.

What you could try doing it finding a generic RPM or .deb of this particular package, if one can be found. So far, I've only found packages for Debian and Ubuntu.

If Elementary will accept Ubuntu packages, then you can find "gtk2-engines-pixbuf" and dependencies here.

Regards...

Hi!

I just tried to install it and it said i need to do this command "sudo apt-get install libcairo2:i386" because of dependency reasons.
This messed up some things on my system! Do you know how to undo this step?
Would be really helpful because it started to delete stuff on my system!

Thanks

Ouch!

Do you remember what it uninstalled? I don't think just uninstalling "libcairo2:i386" would fix it entirely.
