Elementary OS on Raspberry Pi3 (arm processors) ??
Ok so i'm admittedly a linux noob and haven't coded anything in over a decade...buttttt
Shouldn't this wonderful operating system be running on Raspberry Pi3 or another common arm setup ? Anyone know a good first step in getting to this and what would be involved.. i believe there is a version of ubuntu that works on arm - but what about all of the appendages (packages) ? Thanks for your contribution |
I don't do Ubuntu (or derivatives) but I'm sure at least some are ported (Raspian e.g.)
Lots of options - Arch, Slack, whatever. Arch runs fine on Pi3, I use it as a router/firewall. |
Hi - yes i understand that there are very basic versions of linux available for RP3, but i specifically want to port this version - as it is the only one i have tried that is aesthetically acceptable to me.. ie.: simple, beautiful, functional .. thanks :)
I will check out arch.. maybe i can get it to run with the elementary user interface :D |
Should work.
