Slax bootup ext3 issues
Hi. I've downloaded and burned DNALinux 3.7 and 4.0. For some reason, when it boots up, it locks up when trying to mount my existing linux partition. I've tried using -nohotplug to keep it from mounting the hard drives, When I did that it tried to mount /dev/hda1 as /mnt/hd1 or something as (rw)..
When I leave out -nohotplug it seems to freeze at (Mounting all other devices) right after it mounts the cdrom. I'm running Fedora Core 2, and want to see what I can do with this distro. The cd's are good, they boot fine in other machines with only ntfs partitions. Any suggestions? |
what FS are you using in the HD?
NTFS is detected and mounted as read-only, EXT2 as RW. I should try EXT3 and Reiser. |
Sorry about the long delay in replying. I am using EXT3 as my main platform.
Btw, is it just me or is the website down? |
i will check about the FS.
Regarding the site status, thanks for reporting. It seems it is a problem with the hosting (www.onehost.ws), blame to them :) |
