Sequence Annotation Software?

I've been looking forward to trying DNALinux and was curious what sequence viewing/annotation/editing software is included. I checked out the homepage, but didn't see anything I specifically recognized. I've been using proprietary stuff from Celera, ABI, and Sequencher for awhile now and would love to find something open source that was comparable.

About the only open source annotation software I've seen is Apollo, which you can get (along with a ton of other stuff) from GMOD . I've never used Apollo (I work at Celera so I use their stuff) but from the description it looks to be useful. It came out of the Berkley Drosophila group so a lot of the documentation is fly centric but if you read a bit further you'll find you can point it at the Sanger Center's databases.

There is no sequence editor software in DNALinux AFAIK. But I will gladly put one if I find a suitable one. Any suggestion?
(I am looking at gmod website right now).
