I used both systems (BioKnoppix was released very few days after my first release of DNALinux).
Bioknoppix has more graphical apps than DNALinux. DNALinux is more text based, even if it has KDE, but in BioKnoppix you have a menu in KDE with the bioinfo apps.
So as presentation and looks, Bioknoppix is better. Regarding the bioinformatics apps, I should take a closer look to bioknoppix to tell it. In DNALinux the "most used" bioinfo apps are included: BLAST, NCBI Tools, Primer3, Clustal, EMBOSS.
For next versions:
0.36: Compilators support (C, Perl and Python).
0.37: Sim4, Apollo, JRE.
(they are done, but not uploaded yet).
