Yeah! X finally up and running!


Thank God for "The Very Verbose Debian Installation Walkthrough" posted in the Debian Configuration Post-Install thread!

That sucker got me through my X troubles and I'm glad I took the time to read it. I highly recommend that article/source to anyone having problems getting X started.

All I have to say with Debian and WindowMaker is WOW! This is much better than the Windows environment in my opinion!

I agree--I have much more pleasure in using my computer with Linux than I ever did with Windows. I like being able to configure just about everything the way I want it--and I very much like the fact that I'm not LEASING software!
