xrandr problem

hi.. i return to using debian lenny a few days ago..

connected my laptop an another monitor and wanna work only with that.. i used to close my laptop's monitor like "xrandr --output LVDS --off" and on the opening of gdm my monitor goes down.. at my old lenny days

but this time two of them are opening on the starting.. and after i close the laptops mon. few mins later my CRT mon is turning to blackened. i coudnt find a solution to this, how can i fix it..

when i search in google someone said that to fix it we must install xorg-video packages but in lenny has them already

I think this problem may be related to acpi more than xrandr.
