hi
i recently moved away from ubuntu (as they wouldn't let me change my gdm themes lol)
i installed lenny usin the net install for ia86 but i cannot change my screen resolution from 1024x768 to my card/monitors native setting of 1366x768
i have included a .txt taken from the benchmark an profile gizmo which i hope rovide any of you with all the info needed (to be honest i don't understand half of it)
my laptop is a fujitsu amilo li3710 with dual core, 3gb ram an 160gb hd an a intel gma4500 with shared memory graphics

before anyone asks yes i hae googled it an al i can find is bug reports

please can some one help as i dont want to go back to being treated like a windows user (ubuntu) i'd rather be a linux-noob than a windows-wizard

Have you tried changing the resolution with xrandr (or whatever gui front end comes with gnome)?

i've have a look around an under the gnomes menu i.e system--preferences i do have a gui but it has no options in it an i did find some xdanr commands from someone with a similar problem an i had the same rsults as him
i will installin the ia64 testing dvd later to se if the netinstall fudged up somewhere along the lines
