I wanted to make a Debian server with thin clients,
I've enabled in the login window , xdmcp, but my server is not seen by my thin clients.

is there a particular configuration in gnome or may be in debian?

On another machine debian squeeze ( uname gives)
uname -a
Linux belaHome 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Tue Jun 1 04:59:47 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

There is no XDMCP in the menu ( neither connexion nor configuration), how to enable it .

By the way, (since the forum in skoelinux is very poor), if somebody tried it !! I installed server from CD ( not DVD), gnome and gdm are not installed, there is no graphical interface), so how the thin client can connect??
I tried connection from a client but no XDCMP responds.

What CD did you install from? Was this Skolelinux Squeeze? If it was, then you should try again with an updated CD, or even wait for a few more weeks (months) for Squeeze and try the Lenny install instead.

The Squeeze release is alpha, for testing. Thin clients might not be working right now.
