I'm having a problem. I used to be able to startx and get into kde. Now I have to su to root and start kdm instead. I need to fix that. And this may be related.

Synaptic and Guarddog won't start, I keep getting this error:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 key (failed key comparison)

Both worked fine before.

Thanks in advance!
