x11 utils to set the horizontally/vertically the monitor


Hi,

I just installed debian, and xserver-xorg with X and a wm.

But the screen in X is shifted to the right of few cms, how to bring it back to the left?

Under the tty, console, the screen is well alignemed.

I think the monitor should have some autoadjust function in its menus...

probably it is your monitor, you can try its auto positioning feature
What kind of video card you have (ati, nvidia?)

nvidia but I havent installed the nv drivers. just got it from regular x11 debian install xserver-xorg
