Here's the thing I have been able to install the kernel and base system. No problem there (anymore).

I reboot, no worries.

Next comes the configuratin section, which is fine up until...

I make selections in tasksel and skip dselect.

The screen then displays the list of packages to install...

Need to get 0B/195MB of archives. After unpacking 558MB will be used.
Do you want to continue? [Y/n]

Here I type Y press enter.

I am then prompted to insert CD 1 and press enter, which I do.

The screen then ticks through to 100% complete. Buzz and whirr as the CD is read. Then the cursor on the screen stops flashing.

THEN NOTHING????

HELP! Please?

I am trying to install to an iMac 333mhz tray loading.

S'OK it seems I was trying to load too much at the same time or something.
