hi there,

first i need to point out that your post is not really clear.
are you asking if the cd containing the last debian version is bootable?

i may be wrong but as far as i am aware it is not, you will need to recompile to a 2.6 kernel

If you want a 2.6 kernel then use the sarge installer. Woody by default uses a 2.2 series kernel but can optionally be installed with a 2.4.18 kernel.
