Wine on Debian?

Just wondering how Wine works on Debian? I haev never used WINE so I don't know if its worth installing on my machine. Does anyone have any comments?

Running WINE on any distro is really a hit-or-mis affair. It depends on the programs you want to run. Some programs run fine out of the box, others take some work, and still most others won't work at all.
