Hi,
I've just installed Debian 9 jessie but when I plug in the usb driver tp link wn722n Debian seem to try to connect but after a while nothing happen.
I've installed the firmware-atheros package and did everything is written on the official Debian site, but it just doesn't works.
The output of lsmod is:
This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).
source /etc/network/interfaces.d/*
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wpa-ssid NsHome
wpa-psk qwertyuiopasdfgh
See if you can get it working as described in post #10 and #11. It uses a small set of commands (contained in a script), and called by 'post-up' in /etc/network/interfaces. You'll obviously need to use the device node name applicable to your wifi device ie wlan0
The command return "command failed: No such device (-19)". The weird things is that when I go to the list of WI-FI connection avaible in the GUI (i use GNOME) it shows my connection, but when I click on my connection it ask for my password but then it just stop connecting,as if it failed to complete the process.
