Wifi keeps disconnecting usually after about 10 mins.

Just started using wifi to connect to internet using USB dongle. It keeps disconnecting itself. Using Gnome with network manager.

Have I sort of told it to do that in some way or something? Thanks any help.

Which is that wifi usb dongle or how is it identified in lsusb?
I place my bet on some missing firmware though...

Great thanks. Output of lsusb:

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0bda:8189 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8187B Wireless 802.11g 54Mbps Network Adapter

For all drivers, no firmware from userspace is required for device operation. [Well, as long as it's not in userspace then :)] - Debian wiki.

I've usually got the wired thing connected at the same time if that makes a difference.
