wi-fi doesn't work after sleep/suspension in Debian7
hi,
ever since upgrading to Debian7 from 6 on my thinkpad T23, the wifi card(a Netgear WG511) doesn't work after the machine woke up from sleep/suspension. i have to do a machine reboot to have it working again. I'm using Debian7 XFCE. any suggestion or fixes? thanks |
One place worth checking is the relationship between network interfaces and swap. Debian stopped using swap after I installed CentOS in a dual-boot set-up. (CentOS may have changed swap's UUID?) I renamed the swap partition and everything returned to normal, except one thing. After resuming from suspend, the internet connection would only work after re-booting. I have not gotten around to trying to fix it, so I cannot offer a solution if the problem is in this direction.
