Why Toy Story?

Hello,

Debian is based on buzz lightyear for the logo.

Why such a choice historically?

Thanks

Debian Toy Story

Debian also uses Toy Story character names as release names, while you will find more information on this in wikipedia it's linked to involvement of developers in Pixar studios even before Toy Story was released.

Just wanted to say thanks for sharing the pic. I wasn't aware the Debian logo was Buzzes goatee.
