Which Wireless Adaptor for Laptop ?


I have a laptop and I want to connect it to a US Robotics "Wireless Turbo Access Point & Router". I have seen the site "http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz". Any suggestion for a wireless adaptor?

What distro is your laptop running on?

Linksys/DLink should be fine...

I use Linksys with Slackware current

I have installed debian/etch.
You mean any model of Lunksis/DLink ?

I use Linksys WPC54GS (Broadcom chipset). The Dlinks, I believe are Atheros based.

It won't be a very smooth ride, but there IS a destination for sure

I'd like to thank you the community.
I have bought the D-Link DWL-G650.
Everything has gone well.
I followed the instructions from "http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/Distributions#Debian_Sarge.2FEtch".
