Which to choose


HI! I have just tried to download the opera for my Debian...plz look at the following link and tell me which of three i must download.... and why

The three files are for either debian stable (woody) or unstable/testing (sarge,sid) so it depends on which version of debian you are using, the reason that there are multiple download options is because of the newer libraries that are installed with the more up-to-date versions of debian.
Have you tried at a console, as root, apt-get install opera?

I use Sid, tried the sid version and didn't like it.

Settled on the 'static' one, better imho, downloaded it.
Once downloaded to my home/username:

#dpkg -i opera (press Tab to get the rest of the .deb name)

and then Press Enter

$update-menus

and click on it start it
