from where can I get it
which type of system I need,

Regarding Debian you can have a look here. Assuming you want to burn an installation CD/DVD you can go here and select the architecture (I guess powerpc) that you want, the flavour of Debian you want (unstable, testing or stable) and the type of install you want to do (netinst, full install from cd's, etc.)
