where should I get a wine package for debian sarge from?

a couple of days ago I opened synaptic package manager and installed wine version 0.0.20050310-1.2 on my debian sarge stable machine. I've been wrestling with it ever since.
right now I have the game I was trying to install on wine working but it can't find the cdrom, I've done some searching on the wine website forums for help but the stuff I found seems inaccurate or outdated so I thought before I went on poking around again I'd come here and ask if I needed a more up to date version of wine.

You could temporary enable a testing or unstable repo & grab a more updated copy. You run the risk of updating more of your system than you want, so if it tries to, lets' say, give you a whole new version of gnome, kernel, xserver, etc., then you don't want to do that.

I'd say put Debian Etch on your system. It's quite fast & stable.

Currently:
Testing (Etch) --> 0.9.25-2.1: i386
Unstable-->0.9.31-1: amd64 i386
0.9.11-1: kfreebsd-i386

Sarge is old school. You'll benefit greatly if you upgrade to Etch. Not only will WINE be better, but your whole system and every application you use.
