where i can disable the " BIPPPP " on debian


if i type on shell and i type " error " 1 BIPPP! sound come..
where i can disable this?

As root, open up /etc/inputrc. Change the line that says "set bell-style audible" to "set bell-style none" or if that is commented out, uncomment it.
