Wheezy Nvidia

I'd like to address some wheezy issues I haven't been able to resolve. First off is gnome. I'm using the Nvidia proprietary server 304.88. The problem is the second screen. The top and bottom panels drop off when I logout, and appear on the main screen when I log back on. So then I have to do surgery on both screens to get things back to normal. I'm using the gnome legacy desktop option, or whatever it's called. Also, the second screen is all white. It comes up with the desktop background, but once gnome actually starts its business, the background turns white.

File: xorg.conf:
Code:
# nvidia-settings: X configuration file generated by nvidia-settings
# nvidia-settings: version 304.88 (buildmeister@swio-display-x86-rhel47-06) Wed Mar 27 15:32:47 PDT 2013

# nvidia-xconfig: X configuration file generated by nvidia-xconfig
# nvidia-xconfig: version 304.88 (buildmeister@swio-display-x86-rhel47-06) Wed Mar 27 15:32:58 PDT 2013

If the second screen is actually functioning then there is nothing wrong with your xorg.conf.

The problem would be in your gnome config.

But I don't use gnome on two screens (or at all) so can't help with that sorry.

Maybe it has something to do with that. It only detects my main display both there and in Monitor Settings. But I don't know what to look for next.
