what exactly is " fbconfig " ?


and how to get it? Debian list of packages has nothing...

itS for configuring your framebuffer device.
i don't use it but it sure is somewhere in a fb related package. shouldn't be difficult iirc there are just a few
apt-cache search framebuffer

where can i find it ? I do need it


apt-cache search fbconfig shows nothing. Debian online package list does not have it either

just made a short google on fbconfig. do you have a problem with gl and your video card?
if itS in a package i have to guess ..have you installed fbset (the others don't make much sense but search framebuffer gave quite a few).
if itS an error message i'd suggest to google. sorry, can't help here - i don't use fb myself.
