websites(specifically myspace) crashing firefox

Everytime I try to log into myspace, it crashes firefox. This started happening last night, after I updated thunderbird. The error I get is
Code:

The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadShmSeg (invalid shared segment parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 32 error_code 171 request_code 147 minor_code 2)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
  that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
  To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
  option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
  backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Suggestions?

There are a few threads over at Mozillazine in the various Firefox forums about myspace.com

seems they may have updated their code and screwed something having to do with Firefox up. Some ppl are getting crashes others just can't login , others for some weird reason do not seem to have any problems.

Try running Firefox in safemode and visit the site, if it still crashes try creating a new Firefox profile. Chances are if it crashes in a clean profile it is the site and nothing on your end.

that's really annoying. Running in safemode didn't work. But creating a new profile seems to have fixed it. Huh...that's odd

EDIT: Ok, now it crashes when trying to access other people's profiles. This is starting to bug me

EDIT TO THE EDIT: After googling around some more I came across this. It looks as though the package libflash0c2(and the stuff that depend on it libflash-mozplugin and libflash-swfplayer) are what were causing it to crash. Or at least, sometimes. I deleted those, and it worked.
