Web Base PalTalk

Has anybody here tried the beta version of Paltalk's website? When I tried it, everything seems to work, provided you have Java installed, but I can't see what I'm typing. I've only tried it with Debian.

In fact, a few years ago I was able to get paltalk working with Wine but couldn't see what I'm typing. I find this odd.

If someone could try it out and let me know if you can see what you are typing, I would appreciate it.

I tried this out and as you say, you cannot see your own typing. You cannot see anyone else's typing in the chat room either. That was my experience anyway.

Thanks for the reply, now at least I know it's not just me having this issue. Now that you mention seeing what others type, I can't remember if I was in the chatroom or a PM, but I saw what my friend typed to me.

I see you are using Debian also, so I'll try using it with Mandriva.
