Way to output list of installed pkg's in Debian?
Is there a way to output a List of all installed pkg's in Debian?
I just want to know exactly what pkg's are installed Is there a command to do this? Thanks |

you can also use synaptic, i think it has a custom filter for it? aptitude also allows you to see installed packages

I'm using GRML it does have aptitude though no synaptic Is there a way to output the list to a text file or what? thabnks |
Try:
dpkg --get-selections \* > selections.txt |
