Wanna get rid of reference to i486 kernel in Grub...

I have the i486 kernel installed and want to get rid of the reference to the i486 kernel in Grub at start-up. I have Grub installed to the MBR.

I'm using Etch... by the way.

How do I go about doing this??? I'm not a real good bootloader expert...

Are you talking about removing it from the menu of kernel choices?

Ohhh, but that's simple! Open the file /boot/grub/menu.lst in your favorite editor (as root!) and remove the lines pointing to that specific kernelversion. Save the file with it's original name and you're done
