Wan emulator install in Debian 8

Hi. i would like to ask if anyone managed to install in Debian (preferably 8) the WANem http://wanem.sourceforge.net/
I have seen in github that the files are available, but i cannot make it work.
I have tried to copy the folders to

Code:

/var/www

without any success what so ever.
Currently i'm running it from its own live cd, but its a waste of resources and i would like to make it run in my server.

There are five instructions on the download page so try them.

The instructions say please do not just copy the contents into a CD and burn it won't work.
