wacom.ko has unkown symbol?

So i tried installing the wacom drivers fromt he website, no can do got this error (thought the build went fine):
wacom: Unknown symbol wacom_intuos_inout
wacom: Unknown symbol wacom_intuos_general
So i decided to go with the official debian package wacom-kernel-source or something along those lines. Told me to manually install a deb, which i did. When i run modconf i can't load the drivers, gives me the error above. So i delete wacom.ko and try reinstalling witht he .deb package. Doesn't work. Anyone know what i have to do? I searched for installing it on debian, only turns out a page telling you how to install it on Sid using the old driver, and recompiling the kernel. I was wondering if there is any way to install the module for debian and get it working without recompiling the kernel. Thanks
